It can both tilt (up to 45 degrees) and extend (up to 6″) to adjust to any situation and any style of fishing. The Speed Coil gives you 5 forward speeds and 3 reverse. This unit utilizes 12 volts to put 50lb of thrust at the end of a 42″ shaft
