And with a convenient Tilt/Extend Tiller that extends to a full 31-Inch, Effortless command is in your grasp. When the fishing calls for backtrolling, Vantage responds. Simply lift the directional indicator, rotate it 180 degrees and set it back in place. It’s that fast and easy to change direction. With 4:1 articulated steering, rotating the lower unit 180 degrees is as easy as moving the Tilt/Extend Tiller just 45 degrees. Besides delivering maximum results with minimum effort, it stays out of the way of your outboard or kicker motor. When depth and fishing conditions change, all you have to do is push a button to raise and lower the motor. It also automatically stows the motor at the end of the day or when you’re on the move. Unlike conventional transom mounts the Vantage mounting system breaks away on impact. It’s easy to reset and protects your motor from unsean hazards. The Vantage Transom Mount Trolling Motor makes it easier than ever to take control of stow and deploy, steering, and backtrolling. Equipped with a convenient Tilt/Extend Tiller that extends to a full 31-inches, effortless command is in your hands. When backtrolling is called for, simply lift the directional indicator, rotate it 180 degrees, and set it back in place. 4:1 articulated steering allows you to rotate the lower unit 180 degrees with minimum effort, and the tiller stays out of the way of your outboard or kicker motor. Stow and deploy with ease–the Vantage’s Power Trim/Stow and Deploy button allows you to raise and lower the motor with a push of the button when depth and fishing conditions change. The Power Trim/Stow and Deploy also automatically stows the motor at the end of the day or when you’re on the move.
Ample strength for any situation is delivered with the Weedless Wedge 2 Prop that takes on thick weeds without draining the battery. With 36 volts and maximum thrust of 101, the motor has the muscle you need to go the distance. Digital Maximizer:
The Digital Maximizer optimizes draw to extend battery life and reduce damaging heat–helping you stay on the water up to five time longer on a single charge. By regulating power, the Digital Maximizer delivers the precise amount of power needed at any speed with rapid on/off switching from the battery connection to control speed more efficiently than speed coils can. If ‘on’ time is longer compared to ‘off,’ the motor receives more power. If ‘off’ time is longer, the motor gets less power. Since there is minimal power lost to accomplish this, the overall motor is very efficient.
With variable speed control, the Digital Maximizer allows for proper speeds to be set and maintained while trolling lures for proper presentation. Fine-tuned speed adjustments and virtual speed adjustments allow the user to control boat speed more effectively in changing environments.
